During his sophomore season (2024-25), this standout Oklahoma State golfer emerged as a cornerstone for the Cowboys, culminating in a national title victory. He earned GCAA All-America Scholar and PING All-Central Region honors while recording several top-20 finishes, including a fifth-place showing at the Maridoe Intercollegiate and a sixth-place start at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic. His postseason was particularly impactful; he tied for 11th at the NCAA Urbana Regional and secured a vital 4-and-3 match-play victory over Virginia’s Paul Chang in the national championship final to help Oklahoma State claim its 12th title. This followed a solid freshman campaign where he was named to the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team and gained valuable experience across high-level tournaments like the Sahalee Players Championship and the NCAA Rancho Santa Fe Regional.
Prior to his collegiate success, he built an elite amateur resume characterized by historic milestones and consistent winning. Notably, he competed in the U.S. Amateur at just 14 years old, making him the third-youngest player in the tournament's history. His pre-OSU career includes a Texas 4A state individual title, a runner-up finish at the Oklahoma State Amateur, and victories at the Patrick Reed AJGA Junior and the KJ Choi Foundation Junior Championship. A decorated junior golfer and former AJGA All-American, he also demonstrated international competitiveness by reaching match play at The Amateur Championship in 2025.
